Book rooms and conference facilities
The English Park Campus has several larger halls suitable for lectures or events - the Humanities Theatre, the Geijersalen and Ihresalen lecture halls - as well as many smaller rooms of different types with modern technical equipment.
Contact our meeting service and we will be happy to suggest the room that will suit you and your event best.

Rooms for video conferences
In connection with booking a venue for a lecture or event, you can also book the equipment needed. Our media support will help you with technical audio solutions and starting up, and are close by in case anything fails during your event.
Examples of equipment to book are conference cameras, computers, video camera, pointer, microphones, adapters and also portable projector screens, information boards and tables for both indoor and outdoor use. Employees at Uppsala University can book these items via the Service Centre or, in some cases, via TimeEdit with a staff login.
The following halls are technically suitable for video conferences:
- 6-1023 (Geijersalen)
- 21-0011 (Ihresalen)
- 22-0008 (Humanities Theatre)
In the basement in Building 7, room 7 - K1029, there is an insulated room suitable for e-meetings or recordings.
- Meetup camera
- 65-inch monitor
This room can be booked via the Meeting Service.

Each department has an administrator responsible for booking classrooms for lectures and seminars. The meeting coordinator at the English Park Campus can help with bookings in this person's absence.
Students can book a classroom which is not in use via the Service centre in Building 3 the same day. Read more about it here: Book a classroom.
Public areas are, for example, inside the main entrance (entrance 3H/3R) or ground floor of Building 16 (entrance 3L). Organisations associated with the University, its employees or students are welcome to book a table for information about their work. The student unions and the trade unions organising employees at Uppsala University are always welcome.
These areas are booked via contact information above or via the Service Centre. Please be specific with the organisation you represent and the reason for the booking. We can reject your booking if you cannot show a connection with the University.
Also, let us know if you need any extra tables or chairs. Please observe that you are responsible for leaving the area in its original state.
Our media support can help you with sound technical solutions to your event.
